Despite being related, Revision and Proofreading are two different services.
Revision is a bilingual service in which a specialised native linguist examines – and applies any necessary corrections to – an existing translation against its original for its suitability for the agreed purpose. Proofreading is a monolingual service in which a specialised native linguist examines – and applies any necessary corrections to – an existing text in the target language.
Both are important to ensuring the best possible quality and to make the right impact on the Portuguese market.
